This program takes to the home of our patients our services of skilled nursing, physical therapy, social work, health assisitant and nutritional consulting.

 

Under the guidance and supervision of a physician, our experienced staff helps our patient at his residence, so you have a better quality of life and you can effectively manage your health condition.

 

The services include, for example: management of medicines; healing of wounds and ulcers; pain management; social work intervention to address the emotional aspects of a disease; and help to choose the most appropriate foods for each condition. This program is useful for people who suffer from diabetes or cardiovascular, respiratory conditions. Also for those who need physical therapy after surgery or amputation, or require care for wounds or injuries.

Home Infusion Services

 

We also provide home infusion. It allows the patient to receive medications and food through veins in their residence, without having to be hospitalized. Home infusion service is available in the above-mentioned cities, in addition to Guayama, Salinas, Arroyo and Patillas.

 

With this system you can manage, in the comfort of your home, such medications: antibiotics and antifungal; hydration and electrolytes; partial parenteral nutrition;  pain management; antiemetic’s, treatment for multiple sclerosis.

 

Requirements to receive health care at home it is necessary:

 

• That the patient has great difficulty to leave their home.

• Have a referral from their doctor.

• Suffering from a condition that is treatable at home and that warrants the right-handed graduate nursing, physical therapy or speech therapy services.

• For the service of Infusion at home, it is necessary that the patient has health insurance that covers this servcice, private, Mi Salud Plan or Medicare Advantage.
