Diabetes Unit

Our body’s health depends on a system of glands that produce various hormones and the endocrine system. For example, the pancreas produces insulin to regulate the amount of sugar in our blood and the ovaries produce reproductive hormones. Other parts of the system are the thyroid, testes, and the pituitary gland, among others. Together, they control the growth, development, and other functions.   Our hospital has a specialized unit in the treatment of diabetes. This unit offers experts in different areas who treat diabetes conditions such as, osteoporosis and many others that arise when some of these glands are not working properly.

Endoscopy unit

An Endoscopy is a technique of medical examination that uses a tube with a lens to observe the insides of the human body and help in the diagnosis. According to the organs that need to be analyzed, the tube enters the body through a natural hole (such as the nose or mouth) or through an incision made in the operating room (for example, to observe the cavity in the joints of the knees).

According to the organs that are analyzed, the endoscopy receives different names. Therefore the colonoscopy looks at colon and lower digestive system; and the abdominal cavity is observed with laparoscopy.

We offer the most advanced technology and expert staff to perform all of these procedures, offering the best quality of health care and the possibility of an accurate diagnosis.

Different procedures may require different preparations. Call us to make your appointment and ensure you receive the proper instructions for your endoscopic procedure.
