Outpatient sample: 6:30 am-3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Results are available 24 hours 7 days a week.

 

• Night shifts: only urgent tests will be processed during these shifts. Weekends and holidays are worked by three shifts of staff on duty.

 

Damas Hospital Clinical laboratory provides a wide range of diagnostic services in two main areas:

 

• Laboratory medicine

• Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine

 

Since our equipment and methodologies are of high sensitivity and specificity, our laboratory provides its services to the hospitalized population, outpatient and other medical facilities as reference to the laboratory. Our staff is highly qualified and performs each test under the strictest quality control conditions so that their results are reliable and safe.

 

 

Department of Laboratory Medicine

 

This Department operates the clinical laboratory, and has the accreditation of the College American of pathologists (CAP), and CLIA. Services of this Department are offered in the hospital field, outpatient and emergency 24 hours a day, in most of its tests.

 

These services include chemical, hematological, and bacteriological analysis of blood, urine, and other body fluids using the most advanced and accurate technology. Our clinical laboratory is under the direction of a clinical and anatomical pathologist that is available for consultation 24 hours a day.

 

Location: The outpatient sample section is located on the first floor of the Hospital, facing the Central Hall.
